AES will begin returning empty containers once the aisle carpet has been removed or required floor protection has been installed in the exhibit hall.

  Getting Materials to Your Booth

To guarantee a smooth move-in/move-out process at The Detroit Marriott at The Renaissance Center, we have implemented the following shipping requirements:
Inbound Freight: All materials must be delivered to our warehouse for consolidation and scheduled delivery.

Outbound Freight: All shipments will be managed by our preferred carrier to meet the venue’s specific dock and security standards. For shipments involving large crates or skids, please reach out to exhibitor@american-expo.com so we can facilitate your logistics needs.

AES will receive and deliver materials to your booth shipped to the following locations:

  • Properly label and send Advance shipments to arrive between Monday, March 23, 2026 and Friday, April 17, 2026. 
  • Warehouse receiving hours are Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 4:00pm, Closed Holidays
  • Shipments received before or after the advance shipment window will receive a 30% surcharge.
  • Certified weight tickets must accompany all shipments.
  • Ship early to avoid delays and save money.
  • Please note that AES Warehouse will not accept uncrated freight (loose, unskidded machinery and/or pad-wrapped materials), COD shipments, cold storage freight, hazardous materials, or single pieces of freight weighing more than 3,500 lbs. and/or dims larger than 96"H x 93"W.

  Labor Information
